APPOINTMENTS

The first session is a chance for you to get to know me, and a chance to explore your concerns, including when they began. We will develop a shared understanding with you of how the problem developed and discuss possible treatment plans. Each session will run for 50 minutes. 

Fees & Rebate:

Session fees will be discussed when scheduling your first appointment. A Medicare rebate applies in most circumstances with a referral from a General Practitioner or Psychiatrist. A mental health care plan will currently allow up to 20 Medicare rebated therapy sessions per calendar year. Medicare rebates are currently $129.55 per 50-minutes.  Private health insurance may be applicable to cover some fees but cannot be used in conjunction with Medicare rebates. 

 Cancellations: 

Space Between has a 24-hour cancellation policy. If you need cancel your appointment, please contact us no later than 24 hours prior to your appointment.  A cancellation fee will apply when you do not attend or cancel your appointment with less than 24 hours of notice. A Medicare or private health insurance rebate are not available in these instances.

We will protect your privacy and the information that you provide. Space Between adheres to strict guidelines for professional conduct, in line with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and the Australian Psychological Society (APS) Code of Ethics.
